Day 1
Cochin
Upon arrival in Cochin International Airport/Railway Station you will be welcomed by your Lifeline Holidays representative and transferred to your hotel in Cochin.
Enjoy a day of sightseeing in the beautiful port city, made famous by its wealth of history and culture. Drawn by its old world charm, visitors from all over the world throng to Fort Kochi. Mattancherry Palace, Santa Clause basilica, Jewish synagogue, and the Chinese Fishing nets add to its quaintness. Spend a leisurely evening shopping in Broadway. Overnight stay in Cochin Hotel.
Day 2
Munnar
This morning we leave for Munnar via Kodanadu, one of the largest elephant training centres in Kerala., We will be stopping to enjoy the picturesque waterfalls in Cheyyara, Vellara & Attukadu. Munnar is blanketed with Tea & Spice plantations. Enjoy an evening of relaxation and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 3
Munnar
Today we proceed to Eravikkulam National park and Mattupetty dam. En route, we will visit some of the main attractions of Munnar such as Echo point, Photo point, and the rose garden. Kundala is a beautiful hill station that was once a British summer resort. You can also enjoy boat ride which will take you around the surrounding hills and scenic tea gardens as you take a round or two of Kundala lake. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 4
Thekkady
After breakfast we will drive towards Periyar, the breathtakingly famous Wildlife Sanctuary of south India. On arrival there will be a check in at hotel. Once you are refreshed you have the option on to go for an exciting 3 hours of trekking inside the Periyar wild life sanctuary. The trekking you will do will get you to see the Periyar wild in all its glory. You may come across in the wild animals like wild elephants, boar, deer, and maybe even the great Indian tiger. In the evening you can go for a leisurely boat cruise across the lake & experience the flora and fauna around it. Your overnight stay will be at a hotel in Thekkady.
Day 5
Kumarakkom
On this day, we will drive to Kumarakkom. The natural beauty of this place is accentuated by canals, lakes & coves. You will check into a hotel & then embark on a visit to the Kumarakkom bird sanctuary. You will also be able to savour the warm hospitality at the Hotel and indulge in the delightful experience of fishing in the backwaters. Your overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 6
Allepey
After breakfast we will proceed towards Allepey. On arrival there will be a check-in at a traditional Kerala style Houseboat which will take you on a cruise through the backwaters of Allepey. This will be a fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of Kerala’s backwaters. On the Houseboat you will be refreshed with a welcome drink of tender coconut, followed by tea, snacks, breakfast, lunch, dinner and of course, mineral water. Your overnight stay will be on the houseboat.
Day 7
Cochin
On the final day after breakfast, you will check out from Houseboat & drive towards the city of Cochin. Our representative will drop you at Cochin International airport/Railway station so you can proceed on your return journey with a bagful of fond memories of Kerala experienced via Lifeline Holidays.
